CELTIC SUNRISE

This colorful stained glass window depicts a sunrise with a Celtic knot representing the sun.  Many representations and meanings regarding the sun are present in the Celtic beliefs.  All life begins in the dark and when ready enters the light. The devine qualities of the sun can be applied to Celtic belief about life - life, light, healing, inspiration, strength, fire, and illumination.  This window measures 16 inches x 12 inches. The Celtic sun and its rays are done in orange and red colors with a marbling effect.  Also included in the depiction of the sun are some darker red brown marbled glasses.  They all come together to present a beautiful sunrise.  The sun shines its rays on the sea and land done in textured blue aqua glass and blue green marbled glass.  A chain is attached to help hang this piece of art.
